Pre-school photo day (Tuesday 26th November)

Come in at 8am if your child has older or younger siblings that you want to be in the photos. Your child can wear anything that you like but let the staff know if you want them to stay away from messy play for the rest of their session or provide a change of clothes to avoid getting any smart clothing dirty at pre-school.

Children in need dress up week (11th-15th November)

Thank you to every one that participated in our dressing up week to support children in need. If you were so kind to donate to this charity we are very thankful and we sent off over £30 that was placed in our little pot by your children. We also had crazy hair, odd socks, inside out clothes, PJs, yellow/spotty clothes and quite a few Pudsey bears most of which the cost of the clothes went towards the charity too. All the children seemed to enjoy it and gained a better understanding of Children in need UK.

HOT MEALS COMING SOON! (December 2019)

At our setting we aim to teach all of the children about the importance of healthy eating, to do this we provide a wide range of foods for snack time, but we would now like to provide hot meals for your child at lunch time. We are very excited to give you the option for your child to have their nutritious lunch cooked here at our setting.

Halloween fun (Thursday 31st October 2019)

We had a great Halloween this year with lots of fun sensory activities combining learning with the spooky season. It was excellent to see so many children dressed up in costumes to join in with the Halloween fun and even the staff put on their spooky outfits!

Our trip to Jimmy's farm! (Friday 5th July 2019)

Our first trip out to Jimmy's farm was a great success! Our staff enjoyed the trip with all the children and parents, and hope that everyone else did too, thank you to all of the parents that could make it and for all your great feedback. We had the pleasure of having our own guide that taught us all about the animals, and he even let us pet and feed some. We hope that we can do it all again next year!

In June 2018 we had a change in Management and our new Setting Manager is Jo Springall. We also have a new Deputy Manager Danielle Rogers and the rest of our team is made up of our Pre-school Practitioners Jenny Abbott, Polly Fyfe and Lou Bawley. We took on an Apprentice, Chloe Ripp who joined us in July 2018. Nikki Brunning helps to run our Breakfast and Afterschool clubs. During the summer holidays we had the inside and outside of our building completely redecorated creating a fresh clean feel to the setting. We have 2 chickens called 'Pecky' and 'Groot' who live in our bark area!

Thank you for attending our open day (Wednesday 19th June 2019)

Thank you to everyone that made it to our open day last month, we hope that you and your child enjoyed stayingfor a play at our setting, and that you got to speak to some of our members of staff. We look forward to seeing the children that are due to start in September or later on in the year.
